PLAYzona is proud to be locally owned and operated! As mothers to young children and Glendale homeowners, Joanna and Elizabeth realized that the upper west side needs an indoor play space specially designed to foster creativity, self expression, and imagination. Our children love interacting with others at our local parks but being outdoors was not always practical, especially during the summer. And exploring the community, we found many opportunities for physical development such as trampoline parks and agility courses, however the needs of younger children and the arts seemed to be missing. So… PLAYzona was created! Our goal is to create a clean and safe indoor play space as well as offer enrichment classes to allow children to learn through play!!!

Kacie Kozman
Rhythm and Muse was created by Kacie Kozman with the mission to grow your child’s confidence through music while creating an inclusive community where caretakers learn with their little one.
Kacie graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016 with a degree in broadcast journalism. She was a radio show host for 7 years across two states, awarded three consecutive times for Best Morning Show Personality/Team. Her love for children comes from her background with church. She was able to get involved with childcare at a young age and had the opportunity to counsel camps starting at 17 years old and lead regional youth events as young as 15. Today, she is combining her lifelong passions of music, crafts and kids by opening Rhythm and Muse enrichment studio.
Rhythm and Muse provides equal opportunity for age appropriate education from newborns – preschool for both the little ones and the adults. When attending a Kindermusik class, it’s not just about your baby learning. It’s about you getting to learn side-by-side in a playful way that you can bring into your own home.
We look at the WHOLE child and not just what the outcomes are. Respecting each child’s needs and interest in class or at a sensory event is an integral part of our environment.
Come play with us. Come learn with us. Come GROW with us!
Rhythm and Muse will soon become a lifestyle and we can’t wait to welcome you into our family.

Brooke Aderhold
Master Brooke Aderhold began her martial arts journey in 2001 under her father, Master David Roberts. By 2004, she was assisting in classes, and in 2006, she earned her Cho Dan, 1st degree black belt, beginning her regular teaching career.
In 2012, when Master Roberts relocated, Master Aderhold took over the daily operations as co-owner. Her leadership skills shone, and in 2018, she rebranded the school to Destiny Martial Arts Academy, partnering with her now husband, Lucas Aderhold. Their joint efforts led to significant growth, necessitating a move from the YMCA to their own facility in Peoria, AZ, in 2019. In 2020, she was able to leave her job and fulfill her dream of running a martial arts school full-time.
Master Brooke Aderhold has a passion for working with children of all ages. She enjoys seeing students grow and mature through martial arts and over the years has witnessed many students building confidence in themselves and moving on to being leaders in their community.
