May I bring my child a snack?
Yes, feel free to bring drinks and snacks for you and your child(ren). To keep our play space clean, please keep all drinks and snacks in the welcome area, seating area, and/or classroom space. Please no nuts.
Is there space for me to put my diaper bag or other personal belongings?
Yes, we have some storage cubbies in the welcome area for you to place shoes and other personal belongings. Please note the cubbies are not locked and space is limited so you may want to leave bulkier items at home.
I cannot wait to play with my child but I also need to check my work email during our visit. Is WiFi available?
Yes, please join our guest WiFi when you arrive. Please note, caregivers are responsible for actively supervising children at all times. For support with supervision, please consider booking a session with PLAYzona Professionals: shared workspace with onsite child supervision.
In light of COVID and flu season, what is your plan for keeping me and my child(ren) safe from germs?
Although we cannot prevent everything, a safe and clean play space is our top priority. First, we ask that all visitors be in good health. Second, we ask guests to assist us by utilizing sanitizing stations and put any toys or items that need to be cleaned in the appropriate bin. Third, we sanitize high touch areas frequently throughout the day including handles, railings, etc. Fourth, at close of business we deep clean the entire play space so it is ready for the next day of play. Last, we ask that if you have any specific concerns you speak with a staff member immediately so they can be addressed.
I’ve been to other indoor playgrounds and there are only a few activities for my toddler. What should I expect at PLAYzona?
Unlike other indoor playgrounds that may have large climbing structures, trampolines, and arcade games, PLAYzona is specifically designed for age appropriate (ages 0-7) creative and interactive play. While we do have some “playground” type equipment we are focused on themed dramatic play spaces for your child(ren) to use their imagination, act out real life, and play with age and developmentally appropriate toys.
I am interested in a membership but my child gets bored easily. If we come frequently, what should we expect?
We know that children need new and diverse opportunities to explore and play. Frequently, we will update and change the themed play spaces and creative zone activities so that there will be different offerings available. We also encourage caregivers to play and interact with their children while visiting PLAYzona as much as possible. Each play space includes ideas for unique ways to play and build skills such as sorting, role playing, and other play activities.
Is there a time limit on my visit? Can I leave and return on the same day?
There is no time limit on your visit however please be mindful of our hours so you have enough time to play.
Yes, you may leave and return on the same day. Please let us know before you leave that you plan on returning.
Is there a fee for adults, children 6 months and younger, or children 8 years and older?
There is no cost for adults or children 6 months and younger however everyone must have an updated waiver. Children 8 years and older are welcome to accompany a younger sibling into the PLAY space however their role is to aid younger sibling(s) in PLAY.
Are socks required for everyone?
Yes! To keep our play space clean and safe for all guests, grip socks are required for children and any type of socks are required for adults (we recommend grip socks for adults). No shoes are allowed in the play space with the exception of visitors with special needs. Don’t worry if you forget a pair at home, we have grip socks available for $5 (plus tax) per pair at the welcome desk.
My child has special needs, can they play?
Yes, of course. Our play space is designed for all children. If you have specific questions regarding accommodations, please reach out so that we can assist.
We are excited about group enrichment classes! Can one of my children attend a class while the other one PLAYS?
It depends on the class type. Some classes require a caregiver to be in attendance in which case one adult would need to be in the class and a second adult would need to be present to be in the play space. We do however offer classes that do not require a caregiver to be in attendance and family classes for caregivers with multiple caregivers.
